
When Super League Kerala (SLK) and the German Football Association (DFB) signed a cooperation agreement.
Kochi: Starting a new chapter in the history of Indian football, Super League Kerala (SLK) and the German Football Association (DFB) have signed a cooperation agreement. At a ceremony held in Munich, Germany, Super League Kerala Director and CEO Mathew Joseph, Managing Director Firoz Meeran, Media Rights Director Kay Damholz and Head of League, Futsal – Bundesliga Philipp Mergendaler signed the agreement on behalf of the German Football Association.
With this, Germany’s world-class football infrastructure and their unique methods of molding talents will be a great asset to Kerala football. The main objective of this cooperation is to enable the development of football through technical cooperation, player transfer and knowledge sharing. This will give the Super League Kerala players an opportunity to receive high-quality training in Germany. In addition, experienced German football professionals and coaches will be able to work as part of Super League Kerala and contribute to the development of football talent in the state.
Indian Consul General in Munich Shatrughan Sinha, FC Ingolstadt CEO Dietmar Beiersdorfer, TSG Hoffenheim, DFB Advisor Kaushik Maulik, and senior officials from the Indian Football Center in Austria were present at the event.
