Former Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen has officially agreed to join Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg. The 33-year-old Danish international, who was a free agent after leaving Manchester United at the end of last season, has accepted Wolfsburg’s offer.
Eriksen has arrived in Germany for a medical, suggesting the deal is close to being completed. The strong Danish presence at the club, including five other Danish players, is expected to help Eriksen adapt to his new surroundings.
With over 300 Premier League appearances and extensive international experience playing for Denmark, Eriksen will bring valuable leadership and talent to Wolfsburg.
