Shillong ∙ Jamshedpur FC defeated a struggling NorthEast United 2-0 to enter the ISL football semi-finals. Jamshedpur will face Kolkata’s Mohun Bagan in the first leg of the semi-finals on Thursday.
Nigerian player Stephen Esci (29th minute) and Spanish player Javi Hernandez (90+9) scored the goals for Jamshedpur. Mobashir Rahman was sent off in the 88th minute after being sent off in the semi-finals. The first semi-final between Bengaluru FC and FC Goa will be played on Wednesday.
