Munich∙ PSG’s long-standing dream came true at the Allianz Arena in Munich. There are now new heirs to the UEFA Champions League title. PSG celebrated their victory in the Champions Trophy final by scoring five unanswered goals against Inter Milan, who were aiming for their fourth title. Achraf Hakimi (12th minute), Desire Duo (20,63), Quique Qvaraskeliya (73), and Senny Mayulu (86) were the goal scorers for PSG. PSG, which played only on offense from the start, had 59 percent of the ball in the first 30 minutes. During this time, PSG players had five shots on target. The result was the goals scored in the 12th minute and 20th minute. In the 12th minute, Moroccan player Achraf Hakimi scored the club’s first goal in the Champions League final. The first goal was assisted by Desire Duo. In the 20th minute, Duo doubled PSG’s lead. Duo’s goal was a stunning volley from a cross from Ousmane Dembele from the left wing. Desire Duo, 19, also became the youngest player to score a goal and assist in a Champions Trophy final.

Under pressure, Inter lost the ball repeatedly in the first half. Long crosses to Lautaro Martinez and Thuram also failed to produce results. However, Inter Milan continued to attack the PSG goal in the closing minutes of the first half. But Inter still couldn’t break through the defensive wall led by captain Marquinhos. PSG’s third goal came in the 63rd minute of the second half. Desiree fired the ball into the right corner of the post from a pass from PSG’s Portuguese player Vitinha. The Jersey player received a yellow card for celebrating the goal. PSG withdrew Desiree immediately afterwards. Bradley Barcola came on as a substitute.

Paris fans began to celebrate victory when Quique Qvaraskeliya scored PSG’s fourth goal in the 73rd minute. Two minutes later, substitute Seny Mayulu also scored, increasing PSG’s lead to five. The PSG players celebrated their victory as the final whistle blew. Louis Enrique’s PSG youth team reached the final by defeating Liverpool (on penalties), Aston Villa and Arsenal in the knockout round. Despite reaching the final in 2020, PSG did not give up the title this time.
